To clean your lenses, simply rinse them with a mild dish soap and lukewarm water, and dry them with a soft cloth. For day-to-day cleaning of light smudges, a few swipes of the pouch included in your case should do the trick. Please be careful to avoid using hot water on your lenses (especially if they are high-index lenses), as they can develop bubbles or cracks when exposed to high heat.

How do I send a prescription?
After selecting your prescription type, lens type, and lens material, you can upload an image of your eyeglasses prescription to your order (snap a photo or upload the image from your computer). If you have uploaded your prescription, it will be saved in our database, thus you do not need to upload a prescription when you place another order, unless you have a new prescription.

We will also need your Pupillary Distance (PD)
Your PD is the distance in centimeters between your pupils, and it helps us center your prescription correctly in your frames. If your doctor did not include this measurement with your prescription, you have a few options:

  • Measure your PD yourself using our online tool.
  • Measure your PD at the nearest Bridges Eyewear stores.

How do I know if a frame fits me?

  • Pupils should be near the center of the lens
  • Lenses should not extend past the side of your face
  • Eyebrows should not be inside the glasses
  • When you smile, your cheeks don’t push the frames up
  • Frames should not slide down your nose

How do I determine the width of the face with its eyeglasses?
Unlike shoe size or clothing size, determining a face size is not as simple as remembering one number. In addition. your face size helps you to pick the spectacle that you wanted.

  • Narrow: If you have a narrow face, look for frames in the 45mm – 51mm
  • Medium: If you have a medium face, look for frames in the 52mm – 53mm
  • Wide: If you have a wide face, look for frames in the 54mm – 59mm

Where can I find my frame’s measurements?
Bridges Eyewear frames have a few numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm. These refer to the lens width, bridge width, and temple arm length of your frames. On each product page, the frame measurements are listed as three numbers under MEASUREMENTS. We recommend comparing the measurements of your current glasses to the frame measurements on our website; this will give you an idea for how a pair will fit you.
